Karen joined Amati in June 2017. Prior to this she had been living in Luxembourg and working for a non- profit organisation of International Orthopaedic Surgeons as the editorial assistant to the Editors of their Orthopaedic Journals. Originally from Northern Ireland she trained as a Registered Nurse /Midwife before starting a family and moving to Grand Cayman, London, Luxembourg and finally to Edinburgh.
