Gavin joined Amati in September 2026 working as part of the Sales & Marketing team.  He joins from Octopus Investments, where he spent two years as Head of Wholesale and Key Partnerships, leading the development of the firm’s tax-efficient investment relationships and working with financial advisers to deliver solutions aligned with their clients’ long-term planning objectives.  Before joining Octopus, Gavin spent 17 years at J O Hambro Capital Management, progressing from a sales support role to UK Sales Director and, in 2017, Head of UK Intermediary Sales. Gavin is a member of the CII, has recently studied for the CII Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning, holds the IMC and has a Degree in Economics with a Year in Europe from the University of Leicester.
