We’d like to invite you to a lunch presentation where you will hear from the managers of two very different global funds offered by Amati Global Investors and Oldfield Partners.

The managers of the WS Amati Global Innovation Fund, Mikhail Zverev and Graeme Bencke, will share their views on which “innovation frontiers” will provide the next leg of global growth. They invest in innovation with clear visibility of broadening adoption and profitable business models. In short, they invest in real businesses, not science projects. Over the past year the Fund is well ahead of the benchmark – even though none of the “magnificent 7” make it into the portfolio. We’ve now launched the founder share class now – 50bps OCF for a limited capacity – but those who invest will have it in perpetuity.

Oldfield Partners is an independent value manager that provide clients with concentrated 20-35 stock portfolios. They manage six equity strategies, each one following the same concentrated yet diversified and unconstrained approach. Oldfield Partners will be presenting the Global Smaller Companies Fund with portfolio manager Harry Fraser. Harry will talk through the current portfolio, why now is the time to allocate to Global Small Cap Value and the case of active management in the small cap space.

Date: Thursday 12 September 2024

Where: The Windmill, Mayfair, 6-8 Mill St, London, W1S 2AZ

Time: 12:45 for 13:00 start. Presentations will finish at 14:30

Following the presentation there will be an opportunity to talk to the managers over drinks either on the roof terrace, weather permitting, or at a reserved area inside. Due to the size of the venue, places are limited, so please let me know if you would like to attend and I’ll send a calendar invite and lunch options through.
