Amati is delighted to announce that its fund managers have been awarded "VCT Managers of the Year" at the Small Cap Awards 2020.
The awards celebrate the best and reward the finest in the sub-£200m market cap quoted company sector each year. The Small Cap Awards is a once-a-year opportunity to recognise outstanding achievement focused on smaller quoted companies.
Since it started in mid-2012, the Small Cap Network has successfully enabled leaders and participants in the micro-cap sector to regularly meet together, based on the premise that meeting people builds trust and creates new areas of thinking and opportunity and the regular networking events have gone from strength to strength.
Amati Fund Manager, Anna Macdonald accepted the award at a Live Awards Webinar commenting "I'm delighted to accept this award of behalf of Amati AIM VCT. We couldn't have done it however without all the hard work of the underlying companies in which we invest and the brokers that bring them to market. So, we thank them too."
The Small Cap Network commented "The Amati AIM VCT looks to generate tax free capital gains and regular dividend income for its shareholders, primarily through Qualifying Investments in AIM-traded companies. Net asset value grew by 12% in the year to January 2020 and the judges were impressed by the fund’s continual support in financing ambitious small cap firms."
