On 30 April 2026, FundCalibre announced the inclusion of the Amati Global Innovation Fund in its Elite Radar ratings.

We are delighted that the fund, managed by Mikhail Zverev and Graeme Bencke, has been recognised by the FundCalibre team. Approaching its fourth anniversary since launching in May 2022, the fund continues to attract interest, growing to £50 million in assets under management and currently is ranked first quartile among its global peer group.   In terms of performance, the fund has returned 32.4% to end April 2026 over 1 year (top decile) and over 3 years has returned 53.6% without holding any of the Magnificent Seven stocks.  Looking ahead, we are excited about the opportunities the strategy presents.

The fund takes a highly differentiated and broader approach to innovation investing, driven by a rigorous bottom-up research process that identifies opportunities which are often overlooked and less widely recognised by the market. Importantly, the strategy focuses on established, commercially viable businesses rather than speculative “science projects.”

The investment team’s approach is exceptionally rigorous, with the depth of its due diligence and research serving as a key differentiator. In addition, the team regularly attends industry trade shows, allowing them to engage directly with innovators across a wide range of technologies and services and gain valuable first-hand insight into new and relevant themes relevant to the portfolio — another feature that sets the strategy apart from its peers.

Commenting on the fund, Darius McDermott of FundCalibre said:

“This fund is run by an experienced two-person team in Mikhail and Graeme, whose combined mixed backgrounds in fields such as semiconductors, aerospace and defence, accounting and finance, leave them well equipped to navigate the technical complexity at the heart of innovation investing. Their willingness to scour for lesser-known companies and take high-conviction, off-benchmark positions gives investors a genuinely differentiated product”
